About the Project

We have created a questionnaire to collect information about creative responses to the coronavirus pandemic. Collaboration and integrative ideas are critical now more than ever. Please help us collect information as we generate a time capsule of creative responses. Share your creative projects or add projects that have inspired you. Multiple responses can be entered by completing the questionnaire more than once.

This questionnaire will take less than 5 minutes to complete. The responses will be shared with our collaborators to inspire programming, exhibitions, and more. In the years to come, we hope that your responses will become a reflection of this moment in time for historians, curators, and cultural researchers.

All Creative Responses remain the property of those that created them.

This project was organized by Cultural Programs of the National Academy Sciences in collaboration with the National Academy of EngineeringLeonardo/The International Society for the Arts, Sciences, and TechnologyIssues in Science and Technology Magazine, and the Alliance for the Arts in Research Universities (a2ru)

Cultural Programs of the National Academy of Sciences (CPNAS) explores relationships among the arts and sciences through exhibitions and public programs including family events, theatrical readings, salons called D.C. Art Science Evening Rendezvous, film screenings, and more. Chartered by Congress in 1863 under an Act signed by Abraham Lincoln to provide crucial scientific advice to the nation, the National Academy of Sciences, a private, nonprofit institution, is uniquely positioned to draw on the expertise of thousands of men and women who have distinguished themselves in their respective fields in science.
