Small Nuclear Reactor Moved, As Challenges Remain

February 26, 2026

In Issues, Aditi Verma, Katie Snyder, and Shanna Daly maintain that advancing nuclear energy will also require new approaches to engineering education. Along with providing customary technical training, they write, “a more robust standard of engineering proficiency would include a deep appreciation of the social, cultural, and ethical priorities and implications of the technological solutions engineers are tasked with designing and deploying.”
