The coronavirus pandemic is speeding changes in the US economy that may cost many workers their jobs, and there is agreement that the nation should beef up education and training to help people gain skills needed to thrive in the emerging workplace. Issues has been out front in discussing the need for better training and education (here and here). The pandemic is making the need more urgent.
